Embitel Technologies is seeking a Platform Test Engineer (3–7 years) to work with CARIAD India on automotive software platforms. You will derive test specs, automate end-to-end validation across multiple ECUs, and apply AI-driven approaches to improve coverage and efficiency.
Responsibilities include creating test artifacts, using CANoe/VehicleSpy, and collaborating with Europe and India teams in a multicultural setting. Strong experience in Python and Robot Framework is required.

The new software and technology platform is built from scratch and will be used first at the end of 2024 in Artemis, the lighthouse project of Audi. As of 2026, E³ 2.0 is due to be scaled by the Volkswagen brand with Trinity in the volume segment.
CARIAD COE (Centre of Excellence) is setup in Bangalore, India working exclusively with CARIAD and associated VW groups with the focus on development of ‘VW.OS”. The areas of work involve development of platform components such as firmware, boot loaders, AUTOSAR, Linux/QNX BSP, Service oriented architecture-based middleware components.
Platform Test Engineer (3 – 7 Years)
Work in a multi-cultural engineering environment with teams across Europe and India. Contribute to the validation of cutting-edge features driving modern Automotive technology megatrends such as Software Defined Vehicles (SDV), High-Performance ECUs, Zonal Architectures, and Car-to-Cloud connectivity. You will be responsible for deriving functional and non-functional test specifications, developing automated test suites, and validating system behavior in End-to-End use cases involving multiple components along the functional chain. The role increasingly leverages AI-powered tools and workflows to enhance test efficiency, traceability, and coverage.
