Job summary

Embitel Technologies, a VW Group company, invites an experienced embedded software engineer to join our C++/Embedded C team. You will work on SW development lifecycles, GTest-based testing, Python automation, and simulation frameworks.

Experience with ADAS is beneficial. You should be proactive with strong problem-solving, and ready to lead topics end-to-end within a collaborative Embitel environment.

Qualifications

• Very strong proficiency in C++ (C++14/17) and Embedded C (Handson).
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SW1–SW6).
• Exposure to Google Test (G-Test), acceptance testing, and simulation framework.
• Working knowledge of Python automation and batch scripting.
• ADAS experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Go getter attitude who can lead the topic end to end.

As of 2026, E³ 2.0 is due to be scaled by the Volkswagen brand with Trinity in the volume segment. About our Group CARIAD COE (Centre of Excellence) is setup in Bangalore, India working exclusively with CARIAD and associated VW groups with the focus on development of ‘VW.OS”. The areas of work involve development of platform components such as firmware, boot loaders, AUTOSAR, Linux/QNX BSP, Service oriented architecture-based middleware components.
