Embitel Technologies is seeking a skilled professional to develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated test frameworks for automotive software validation. The role involves integrating software components across vehicle platforms, supporting HIL/SIL environments, and ensuring release readiness with cross-functional teams.

The candidate should have a strong background in embedded systems, AUTOSAR, CAN/Ethernet, and scripting (Python/Bash).

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in test framework development or automotive/ADAS
• Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in automotive environments
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR, embedded systems, CAN/Ethernet, and vehicle software integration

CARIAD COE (Centre of Excellence) is setup in Bangalore, India working exclusively with CARIAD and associated VW groups with the focus on development of ‘VW.OS”. The areas of work involve development of platform components such as firmware, boot loaders, AUTOSAR, Linux/QNX BSP, Service oriented architecture-based middleware components.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated software integration, build, and deployment processes.
• Configure and execute automated testing across unit, integration, system, and regression test levels.
• Ensure continuous validation of software changes through automated test execution and result analysis.
• Monitor build health, test results, and pipeline performance; quickly identify and resolve failures.
• Integrate software components from multiple teams and verify compatibility across vehicle platforms and environments.
• Support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Vehicle Integration test activities where applicable.
• Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and test engineers to ensure code quality and release readiness.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, implementation, and test results.
• Drive continuous improvement of automation frameworks, test coverage, and integration processes.
• Analyse defects found during integration testing and coordinate resolution with responsible teams.
• Support release management activities and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in test framework development, preferably in automotive or ADAS systems
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of Git version control and branching strategies.
• Automation scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy).
• Test automation frameworks and reporting tools.
• Understanding of AUTOSAR, Embedded Systems, CAN/Ethernet, and automotive software integration.
• Experience with HIL/SIL environments and system validation.
