Job summary

Jobgether, partnering with a client company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Apps Team. Based in India, you will own end-to-end feature delivery, design scalable systems, and collaborate with product stakeholders to implement robust technical solutions in a remote engineering environment.

You will contribute to architecture, emphasize performance and reliability, and participate in on-call rotations while applying security best practices for handling PII data.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in testing, clean code, maintainability, and performance.
• Ability to solve complex problems, work through ambiguity, and independently define technical solutions.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and MCP servers.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality software in fast-paced environments.
• Experience contributing to system architecture, conducting code reviews, and raising engineering standards.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Apps Team based inIndia.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help scale a core technology platform and accelerate product delivery in a remote engineering environment. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end feature development, from technical design and implementation through deployment and ongoing support. You will contribute to architectural decisions while building scalable, maintainable applications that meet evolving product needs. Working closely with product and engineering colleagues, you will turn complex requirements into practical, high-quality solutions. You will also help strengthen system performance, reliability, and engineering standards while supporting applications that handle sensitive data. • Experience contributing to system architecture, conducting code reviews, and raising engineering standards.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Knowledge of security practices and experience handling sensitive data, including PII.

Nice to have:

• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, or large-scale, data-intensive platforms.
• Familiarity with healthcare technology, compliance, or other regulated environments.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) or entity resolution systems.
• A track record of reducing technical debt through iterative refactoring.
• Experience improving developer productivity through CI/CD practices and engineering tools.
