Job summary

Verisk in India is seeking a software engineer to design and develop cloud-hosted web applications for insurance and reinsurance domains. You will work with cross-functional agile teams to translate mockups into scalable front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and Angular.

You will enhance SaaS applications, develop RESTful APIs, and contribute to UI automation tests while applying strong debugging skills and AI-powered enhancements to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Experience building cloud-hosted web applications for SaaS products.
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and Angular.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and writing UI automation tests.

• Design and develop cloud-hosted web applications tailored for the insurance and reinsurance industries, covering everything from high-level architecture and network infrastructure to detailed site layout, user experience, database schema, and data workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to build functional, scalable, and responsive front-end interfaces based on static mockups and wireframes using HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and Angular.
• Enhance and maintain existing SaaS applications by delivering continuous improvements and providing ongoing support.
• Develop RESTful APIs and implement associated business logic to support application functionality.
• Create and execute UI automation tests alongside active development responsibilities to ensure reliability and quality.
• Identify, resolve, and troubleshoot issues effectively by leveraging strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Leverage AI to accelerate and improve the software development process while delivering AI-powered features and capabilities within the product.
