Verisk in Hyderabad, India, is recruiting a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to enable scalable, secure, and highly available platforms. You will work closely with development, QA, and security teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, AWS infrastructure, and automation tooling.

You will implement IaC, container orchestration with ECS, and observability with Dynatrace/Splunk, while contributing to on-call production support and security practices.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering roles.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, testing, and deployment using tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Manage, provision, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement IaC using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Amazon ECS to support scalable environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Dynatrace and Splunk to ensure system health and rapid incident response.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and CDKTF to streamline infrastructure management and tasks.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability through proactive monitoring and capacity planning.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices by implementing security checks within CI/CD pipelines using Wiz.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve release efficiency.
• Provide production support including root cause analysis and on-call participation.

Job Description

This role requires close collaboration with development, QA, and security teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, testing, and deployment using tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Manage, provision, and optimize Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure in to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Amazon ECS to support scalable and portable application environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk to ensure system health, observability, and rapid incident response.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and CDKTF to streamline infrastructure management and operational tasks.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and system reliability through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Integrate DevSecOps best practices by implementing security and compliance checks within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Wiz.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to enhance development workflows, streamline deployments, and improve overall release efficiency.
• Provide production support by troubleshooting system issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive measures to ensure platform stability. Participation in a scheduled on-call rotation may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
• Certification such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
• Prior experience working in high-scale SaaS or product-based environments.
