Skills and Competencies

• 6+ years of backend or platform engineering experience building and operating production-grade systems.
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET or Java, with a solid grasp of object-oriented design and clean coding practices.
• Hands‑on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to own features end-to-end across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience building cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

About The Team

The Platform Engineering team at Moody’s Insurance Solutions builds the foundational services, infrastructure, and tooling that power our SaaS products. The team partners closely with product engineering groups to enable faster delivery, higher quality, and long‑term platform scalability. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping backend services that support our growing insurance technology ecosystem.
