Job summary
Merkle in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead to architect and lead Salesforce Data Cloud solutions. You will design scalable data models, manage ingestion pipelines, and integrate Data Cloud with MCP for activation and personalization, collaborating with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams.

Qualifications
- Must have hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, unification, and activation.
- Strong understanding of identity resolution, consent management, and customer profile stitching.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, especially MCP, Journey Builder, and Interaction Studio.
- Proficiency in API integrations (REST, SOAP) and data connectors.
- Strong SQL, Python, or JavaScript skills for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience integrating Data Cloud with MarTech platforms (ESP, CRM, analytics tools).
- Familiarity with data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and performance optimization.
