Job summary

Zynga is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design and implement features used by millions of players across platforms. You will work in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-impact gameplay, with a strong emphasis on code quality, performance, and reliability.

Join our team in Bengaluru to shape the future of our live games, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to a vibrant gaming ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–8 years professional experience with Java, C++, Javascript, Android or iOS, React.
• Solid fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, OOP, OS, Networking, AWS.
• Experience with source control management and code reviews.
• Strong communication and collaboration in an agile environment.

• Develop new and innovative features used by millions of players.
• Follow engineering best practices for performance, reliability, and measurability.
• Work on large problems and break it up for others to implement.
• Strong Analytical, programming and debugging skills.
• Perform Design and Code reviews.
• Be responsible for the Live game health.
• Closely work with PM, UI/UX, Art, QA.
• Mentor Junior Engineers.
• Constantly look for opportunities to improve game performance.
• Take a hands-on approach in prototyping quickly.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop new and innovative features played by millions of players using Java, C#, C++, Python, javascript.
• Follow engineering best practices towards ensuring performance, reliability, and measurability
• Work on large problems and break it up for others to implement.

What You Bring:

• Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• 4-8 years professional experience working in C#, C++, Javascript, Android, IOS, React, Java
• Solid fundamental programming skills (algorithms, data structures, OOP, OS, Networking, AWS Cloud)
• Experience with source control management and giving code reviews
• Good Communication skills and Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (UX, game design, PM) in an agile environment
