We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior SoC Architect VLSI Design to lead sophisticated SoC architectures for global semiconductor custom silicon initiatives in advanced nodes (8nm, 5nm, 3nm). The role focuses on technical vision, engineering depth, and cross‑regional collaboration between teams in India and Europe. The ideal candidate is a proven design leader capable of guiding distributed engineering organizations toward innovation, high quality, and first‑pass silicon success.

Employment Details

FULL‑TIME 15+ years of experience. Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad.

Responsibilities

• Define the architecture of complex SoCs, including technology selection, internal and external IP, satisfying customer requirements across automotive, industrial and commercial applications.
• Participate in customer discussions to align requirements, monitor functionality, power, performance, and area restrictions, and support Sales in technical discussions during the acquisition phase.
• Write system requirements and functional top‑level specifications, and accompany the full lifecycle with close collaboration to design, verification, backend, test teams, and project management.
• Perform detailed calculations to specify computation throughput, memory bandwidth and latency, and evaluate performance‑vs‑area‑vs‑power trade‑offs.
• Collaborate with software and firmware teams to ensure the ASIC meets required performance goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or comparable field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in digital ASIC architecture and proficiency in SystemVerilog.
• Experience working in a customer‑oriented, self‑reliant, reliable, and structured manner, collaborating with international development teams.
• Strong interest in SoC architecture and SoC‑level chip design with solid understanding of hardware/software partitioning, microprocessor, interconnect, and memory architectures.
• In‑depth IP knowledge of ARM Cortex‑A720 class processors, Network‑on‑Chip architectures such as Arteris FlexNoC, LPDDR5/6, PCIe Gen5/6, UCIe IP (Synopsys, Cadence), and MIPI.
• Deep knowledge of requirements management is an advantage.
• Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) is an advantage.
• Skills in C/C++/SystemC/Python beneficial.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills.
