Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Shopify Developer with 5+ years of hands‑on experience in end-to-end Shopify development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Shopify customization, application development, API integrations, backend technologies, and e‑commerce architecture.

The candidate should also have hands‑on experience with Java and related frameworks/tools and be capable of independently managing Shopify development projects from requirement gathering to deployment and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end Shopify development, customization, maintenance, and optimization.


• Build custom Shopify themes, sections, templates, features, and reusable components.


• Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps and functionalities.


• Work with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, REST APIs, and webhooks.


• Design and implement integrations with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, logistics, inventory, marketing, and other third‑party platforms.


• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations using Java and related technologies.


• Work with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or similar technologies.


• Optimize Shopify stores for speed, scalability, performance, and conversion.


• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across frontend, backend, APIs, and third‑party integrations.


• Collaborate with product, marketing, design, operations, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.


• Lead technical development projects and ensure the timely delivery of features and enhancements.

Profile Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Shopify development.


• Strong hands‑on experience in end-to-end Shopify development and e‑commerce technology.


• Experience working with Shopify Plus and high‑volume e‑commerce platforms is preferred.


• Strong understanding of e‑commerce architecture, order management, inventory, payments, and third‑party integrations.


• Experience working in D2C, e‑commerce, retail, or consumer technology businesses is preferred.


• Ability to independently manage development projects from requirement gathering to deployment.


• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, business‑oriented environment.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
