Jobgether is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise IT asset data management solutions. You will work on ITAM, HAM, CMDB, and Product Model data, driving data quality, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities across large datasets.

You will collaborate with architects, AI specialists, and client stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, including integrations, data transformation, and testing.

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will help build and optimize enterprise IT asset data management solutions, combining advanced platform development with data quality and AI-enabled capabilities. You will focus on improving the accuracy, consistency, and usability of IT Asset Management (ITAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and Product Model data. Working closely with architects, AI specialists, consultants, and client stakeholders, you will translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Your responsibilities will span application development, system integrations, data transformation, automated cleansing, and comprehensive testing. You will also contribute to intelligent automation, generative AI capabilities, and responsible AI practices across enterprise workflows. This remote, full-time opportunity offers the chance to solve complex technical challenges while contributing to high-impact digital transformation initiatives.

Accountabilities

• ServiceNow development and configuration: Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications, workflows, and automation solutions in accordance with technical specifications, enterprise requirements, and platform best practices.
• Server-side and client-side scripting: Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Transform Maps, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Catalog Client Scripts.
• IT asset and CMDB data management: Support ITAM, HAM, CMDB, and Product Model initiatives by improving data quality, consistency, normalization, and reliability across large enterprise datasets.
• Data profiling and transformation: Perform data extraction, profiling, mapping, cleansing, validation, and transformation to prepare historical and operational data for enterprise asset management solutions.
• Integration development: Design, implement, and maintain integrations with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP, IntegrationHub, Import Sets, and other appropriate ServiceNow integration capabilities.
• AI-enabled solution development: Configure and enhance ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and Now Assist, to improve automation, self-service, and operational efficiency.
• Generative AI implementation: Support the development of AI-powered knowledge management, intelligent search, case summarization, and conversational experiences, including Virtual Agent conversation flows and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) models.
• Responsible AI and data governance: Apply appropriate data quality, security, transparency, testing, and human oversight practices when developing and implementing AI-enabled solutions.
• Service Catalog and workflow automation: Build and configure Service Catalog items, Record Producers, Order Guides, and automated workflows that support business and operational requirements.
• Reporting and analytics: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics indicators to provide visibility into asset data quality, operational performance, and business outcomes.
• Testing and quality assurance: Conduct unit testing, debugging, code reviews, regression testing, and integration validation; support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
• Technical documentation: Maintain clear documentation covering configurations, scripts, integration designs, data mappings, deployment procedures, and technical decisions.
• Performance, security, and platform stability: Troubleshoot complex development and data-related issues, optimize application performance, and ensure solutions remain secure, maintainable, and compatible with platform upgrades.
• Technical collaboration and knowledge transfer: Participate in technical design sessions, collaborate with architects and client stakeholders, and provide knowledge transfer and training to client technical teams.
• Agile delivery: Contribute to sprint planning, development activities, release readiness, and continuous improvement within an Agile or Scrum delivery environment.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and configuring ServiceNow applications, including server-side scripting, client-side scripting, workflow automation, and platform customization.
• Advanced working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Demonstrated experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), CMDB, Product Models, or enterprise data quality and asset data management initiatives.
• Experience working with ServiceNow data models, Import Sets, Transform Maps, large datasets, and complex data integration processes.
• Strong understanding of data profiling, mapping, validation, transformation, cleansing, normalization, and reconciliation techniques.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and troubleshoot REST and SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data analysis, querying, validation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and Now Assist, as well as generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and prompt engineering.
• Understanding of responsible AI principles, including data governance, bias awareness, transparency, security, and appropriate human oversight.
• Experience with software testing methodologies, including unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and release validation.
• Familiarity with Git, version control, structured development practices, code reviews, and software quality standards.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Previous experience in consulting, enterprise implementation, or client-facing project delivery.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to independently investigate complex platform, integration, and data quality issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective stakeholder management, and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Required ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), and at least one additional ServiceNow certification.
