Job summary

Excellentia Careers is hiring a Mid-level to Senior SEO & AEO Growth Executive for a Canada-based edtech client. The role is full-time remote with Chennai/TN-based preference and IST-friendly hours (3PM-11PM).

You will own technical/ programmatic SEO, content optimization, funnel analytics, and AI-search visibility to drive qualified traffic. Responsibilities include managing technical SEO, monitoring crawl/indexing, optimizing meta elements, analyzing analytics, and supporting backlinks and PR.

Qualifications

4+ years of technical SEO experience.
Experience with On-Page, Off-Page, Local SEO and link building.
Proficient in GA4, GSC, Clarity, log-file analysis and sitemap management.
Knowledge of crawl budget, canonicalization, structured data and indexation.
Experience in AI-search/AEO/GEO optimization.
Strong content, CTR and search intent judgment.

Responsibilities

Manage technical SEO and oversee optimization efforts.
Monitor crawl stats, indexing, sitemap status, canonical issues and robots.txt.
Optimize titles, meta descriptions, H1s, internal links, schema and page copy.
Analyze GA4, Clarity, server logs, and DB events to link SEO traffic to profiles and paid intent.
Build AI-search visibility for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot and others.
Support digital PR and high-authority backlink acquisition.
Prepare weekly SEO action reports with URLs, issues, fixes, impact and risks.

Required Skills
