The candidate should bring Masters in Psychology or Counselling Psychology with 5-8 years of relevant CBSE school experience to drive life skills, mental health awareness and safeguarding initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology / Counselling Psychology or related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience; CBSE school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling to students addressing academic, behavioural, emotional and social concerns.
• Identify students requiring counselling, maintain confidential records and ensure structured case follow-ups.
• Coordinate with teachers, academic heads, parents and school leadership for student wellbeing.
• Conduct Life Skills, Stress Management, Emotional Wellbeing, Cyber Safety & Mental Health Awareness sessions.
• Monitor student progress, manage referrals and ensure timely follow-up and case closure.
• Lead and manage the Counselling Team: work allocation, case distribution, monitoring and follow-ups.
• Plan and conduct Parenting Sessions / Parent Awareness Programmes.
• Support Child Protection, Student Wellbeing, Safeguarding & Inclusive Education initiatives.
• Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, counselling practices and professional development/training programmes
