Job summary

Infosys consulting team is seeking a senior SAP HR-ABAP expert to lead engagements across client projects, from problem definition to solution design and deployment.

You will review proposals, guide consultants, assess risks, and drive change management with structured approaches.

You'll coach the team, provide focus-area training, and contribute to unit-level initiatives while delivering value-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of experience in SAP HR- ABAP Environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with OOPs concepts, BADI, Report and Module Pool Programming, LDB and OOPs.
• Experience in data transfer via IDOCs and PI interfaces.
• Proficient with WDA, FPM, Workflows, Smart Forms, ADOBE, ESS/MSS.
• HCM functionality knowledge to prepare high-quality technical specifications.
• Good communication skills and ability to mentor the team.
• UI5 and S/4 HANA experience is a plus.

• Experience in handling data transfer mechanism using IDOCs, Interfaces through PI
• Fair Technical Knowledge of working with WDA, FPM, Workflows, Smart Forms, ADOBE, ESS/MSS Applications
• Good understanding of the HCM Functionalities to be able to prepare high quality Technical Specifications as per the requirements

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to lead the engagement effort of providing high-quality and value-adding consulting solutions to customers at different stages- from problem definition to diagnosis to solution design, development and deployment.
• You will review the proposals prepared by consultants, provide guidance, and analyze the solutions defined for the client business problems to identify any potential risks and issues.
• You will identify change Management requirements and propose a structured approach to client for managing the change using multiple communication mechanisms.
• You will also coach and create a vision for the team, provide subject matter training for your focus areas, motivate and inspire team members through effective and timely feedback and recognition for high performance.
• You would be a key contributor in unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high-quality, value-adding consulting solutions to customers adhering to the guidelines and processes of the organization.
