Job summary

Sopra Steria India Limited is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Module Lead to join a multinational, distributed team in Bengaluru. You will be responsible for development, root cause analysis, performance improvements and source code auditing with a strong focus on SAP ABAP best practices and golden rules.

The role requires 4+ years of SAP ABAP experience, expertise in DDIC, reports, interfaces and forms, and exposure to S4HANA.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 4+ years of experience in SAP ABAP.
• Expertise in DDIC, reports, interfaces, enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, forms.
• Excellent debugging skills and the ability to analyze code.
• Interfaces: ALE/IDOC, RFC, Proxies, OData.
• Exposure to S4HANA and ABAP on HANA.
• Understanding of business processes with functional/technical knowledge in MM, PP, QM.
• Experience with UI5 is an added advantage.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in Agile Scrum/Safe methodologies is preferred.
• Experience in customer-facing roles.

Qualification & Experience:

As an senior SAP ABAP developer, he/she should understand business processes, technical architecture of SAP landscape and define/suggest SAP best practices and Golden rules. Your area of responsibility will extend to development, root cause analysis, performance improvement and source code auditing. He/She needs to have a strong customer focus. The candidate will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team; using an agile mind-set and methodology.

• Graduate with 4+ years of experience in SAP ABAP.
• Expertise in DDIC, reports, interfaces, enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, forms.
• Excellent debugging skills. Ablility to analyse code and suggest improvements.
• Interfaces: ALE/IDOC, RFC, Proxies, OData
• Good to have exposure to S4HANA and ABAP on HANA

• Experience/knowledge in UI5 would be an added advantage
