Job summary

Awign is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Business Systems team. You will oversee architecture, design, development and implementation of SAP ABAP projects across multiple sizes and complexities, including maintenance and enhancements.

You will lead on-site/offshore delivery, drive technical leadership, and participate in cross-functional standards development. The role requires hands-on development, design reviews, and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP experience in S/4HANA environments.
• Experience delivering ABAP-based solutions with SAP NetWeaver Gateway and OData services.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful ABAP programming model and integration patterns.
• Experience with large-scale interfaces, conversions, and SAP BOPF/BRF+ workflows.

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join ourEnterprise Business Systems team. In this role, you will be responsible foroverseeing, participating in and consulting on the architecture, design,development and implementation of multiple software development projects ofvarious sizes & complexity as well as Maintenance & Enhancementreleases. The candidate will have a proven ability to drive technical projectsand provide leadership for a team of developers in an onsite/offshore deliverymodel in a fast-paced environment as well as perform in a hands-on developmentcapacity.

Have experience providing technical leadership todevelopment teams to ensure development of solutions within establishedarchitecture and coding/technology standards.

Provide technology and design thought leadership to internalgroups

Assume primary ownership for assigned projects and work withvarious technology communities to achieve project objectives.

Conduct design and code reviews, ensuring proper coding,conformance to standards and best practices, including performance,reliability, scalability, extensibility and high quality.

Ability to multi-task, lead multiple efforts and projectsand deliver solutions

Participate in cross-training exercises, includingapplication development knowledge transition planning and delivery

Participate in cross-departmental groups for the purposes ofstandards development, third-party tool evaluations, community ofprofessionals, etc.

Provide applications development and enhancement functions,including analysis, design, coding, testing, and object transports using SAP’sABAP Development Workbench

Design and implement technical solutions for conversions,interfaces, enhancements, reports, forms and workflows using call transactions,user exits, bolt-ons, standard data transfer, dialog programming, SAP Script.

Develop custom solutions using customized transactions andthe enhancement framework including user exits to provide additionalfunctionality not available within standard SAP.

Document and perform unit, integration, and regressiontesting in support of new implementations and releases.

Demonstrates the ability to translate business needs intotechnical architecture requirements and understands the long-term andshort-term perspectives of an IT investment situation

Support and promote integration relationships between IT andbusiness functions.

Qualifications:

• 8+years of SAP ABAP experience, developing ABAP on S/4 HANA solutions,S/4HANA FI, SD and RAR modules of SAP.
  
• Experiencein design, developing OData Services using SAP NetWeaver Gateway and ABAPCDS; knowledge of RESTful ABAP programming model
  
• Experiencein development and fixing large scale custom Web-Dynpro Applications,consuming or exposing web services (i.e., SOAP, REST) and BOPF framework.
  
• Strongexperience to SAP to 3rd party integrations
  
• Knowledgeof Upgrade projects/Support Pack applications and should have done SPAUresolution/OSS note applications
  
• Experiencein BRF+, Workflows, Classical/ALV/Interactive Reports, Smart Forms/ADOBEforms, Dialog Programs and BDC programs and developing interfaces usingALE/IDoc's, Flat Files, RFC's, BAPI’s
  
• Excellentknowledge of ABAP Debugging, SAP Code inspector & other SAP standardtools with respect to development
  
• SAPHANA Technical Concept and Architecture, Data Modelling using HANA Studio,ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Code Performance Rules and Guidelines forSAP HANA, ADBC, Native SQL, ABAP Core data Services, Data Base Procedures,Text Search, ALV on HANA, and HANA Live models consumption is plus
  
• Experiencein working in Implementation, Upgrade, Maintenance and post production support projects
  
• Understandingof SAP functional requirement, conversion into Technical design anddevelopment using ABAP Language for Report, Interface, Conversion,Enhancement and Forms in implementation or support projects
  
• Certificationin SAP ABAP would be Preferred.
