Job summary

Staubligroup is seeking a Senior Sales Manager - Textile in Mumbai to lead the textile sales function, drive revenue growth, and manage key customer relationships. The role requires guiding the sales team, achieving market-share targets, and willingness to travel extensively.

You will coordinate with the sales team, develop development plans, and monitor sales activities using CRM systems. A weaving background and a strong technical understanding of textile machinery are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in textile sales (weaving background preferred).
• Diploma or degree in Textile Technology or Manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing customer relationships, sales leads, and projects.
• Create and implement a sales development plan for the geographic area and generate new business.
• Coordinate with the Sales Team on a regular basis.
• Update all sales activities in the CRM system promptly and accurately.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Roles and Responsibilities

The job encompasses but is not limited to the following Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop existing Customer relationships, sales leads, and projects.

• Coordinate with the Sales Team on a regular basis.
• Update all Sales activities in the Company CRM system in a timely and accurate manner
• Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base in the assigned region.
• Conduct market research to understand competitor activities, industry trends, and customer requirements.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely communication, support, and resolution of queries.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics for management review.
• Participate in exhibitions, industry events, and customer visits to enhance brand visibility.
• Collaborate with technical teams to provide product demonstrations and application support where required.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

12+ years of experience in Textile Sales (Weaving background preferred)

QUALIFICATION

Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology / Manufacturing

• Strong technical knowledge of textile machinery (mechanical & electrical).
• Deep understanding of weaving processes, velvet & carpet weaving preferred.
• Ability to evaluate KPIs & market trends accurately.
