Job summary

Homesly Properties is seeking an Experienced Sales Executive for Corporate & Group Sales to drive revenue across our property portfolio. You will identify corporate clients, manage lead journeys, negotiate rates, and convert opportunities into bookings while nurturing long-term relationships with agencies and international customers.

The role requires 3+ years in sales, strong communication, and a proactive, target-driven mindset. Prior hospitality or hotel sales exposure is highly advantageous.

Experienced Sales Executive Corporate & Group Sales
Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced, confident, and target-driven Sales Executive to drive revenue through corporate sales, group bookings, lead conversion, business development, campaigns, and client relationship management across our properties.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in sales and business development, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the confidence to deal with corporate clients, travel agencies, event organisers, and international customers.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the sales process from lead generation and first contact through follow-up, quotation, negotiation, booking confirmation, and repeat business.

Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Sales & Business Development
  • Identify and approach new corporate clients, companies, travel agencies, event organisers, and other potential business partners.
  • Generate new business through proactive outbound calls, emails, networking, meetings, and other sales activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate clients.
  • Conduct regular corporate sales calls, meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
  • Identify opportunities for corporate contracts, group bookings, long-term partnerships, and repeat business.
  • Maintain an organised database of corporate contacts, prospects, accounts, and opportunities.
  • Consistently follow up with prospects until the opportunity is converted or formally closed.
2. Lead Management & Conversion
  • Handle leads and enquiries generated through marketing campaigns and other channels across all properties.
  • Contact new leads promptly through telephone, email, WhatsApp, or other appropriate channels.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable properties, room types, packages, group options, or services.
  • Manage the complete lead journey from initial enquiry to booking confirmation.
  • Prepare and communicate quotations based on customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, objections, lead status, and conversions.
  • Re‑engage old, lost, and pending leads to generate additional booking opportunities.
  • Consistently work towards and exceed lead-conversion and revenue targets.
3. Group Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Generate and convert group booking opportunities, including corporate groups, events, tours, meetings, and other group requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to increase booking value through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Negotiate rates, packages, and commercial terms within approved company guidelines.
  • Promote additional services such as events, food & beverage, meeting facilities, packages, and other property services where applicable.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline and expected revenue from active opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise revenue from each enquiry and client relationship.
4. International Customer Communication
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with customers from the UK and other international markets.
  • Handle telephone conversations with international customers effectively.
  • Understand different UK and international accents, speaking styles, and communication patterns.
  • Demonstrate strong active listening, patience, professionalism, and cultural awareness.
  • Clearly communicate property information, rates, packages, terms, and booking details to international customers.
5. Campaign & Lead Coordination
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to understand ongoing campaigns, promotions, lead sources, and campaign objectives.
  • Ensure campaign-generated leads are contacted within the required response time.
  • Follow up actively with prospects generated through promotional campaigns.
  • Provide feedback to the Marketing Team regarding lead quality, customer objections, pricing concerns, and conversion performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign lead conversion and overall sales performance.
6. Client & Account Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, key accounts, agencies, and individual customers.
  • Maintain regular communication with high-value and repeat clients.
  • Understand client preferences, booking patterns, and future requirements.
  • Encourage repeat bookings, referrals, and long-term business relationships.
  • Handle customer objections and sales-related concerns professionally.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
7. Internal Coordination
  • Coordinate with Reservations, Front Office, Events, Property, Operations, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth booking execution.
  • Communicate confirmed booking requirements accurately to the relevant property teams.
  • Follow up on outstanding information, payments, confirmations, or other requirements where applicable.
  • Ensure there is a smooth transition from sales enquiry to confirmed booking and customer servicing.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be measured against clearly defined sales targets, including:

  • New corporate accounts generated.
  • Number and value of corporate bookings.
  • Number and value of group bookings.
  • Lead response time.
  • Lead follow-up completion rate.
  • Lead-to-booking conversion rate.
  • Monthly and quarterly revenue generated.
  • Average booking value.
  • Campaign lead conversion rate.
  • Number of outbound sales calls and meetings.
  • Repeat business and client retention.

Required Skills & Competencies
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • 3+ years of relevant sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality, hotels, travel, tourism, events, or a related industry will be highly advantageous.
  • Strong corporate sales and business-development skills.
  • Excellent telephone and customer-handling skills.

  • Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, prospects, conversions, and expected revenue.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, packages, promotions, and market activity.
  • Identify new markets, corporate segments, agencies, and customer groups that can generate additional revenue.
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, corporate meetings, and other business-development activities when required.
  • Represent the company and its properties professionally at all times.
  • Take ownership of assigned sales targets and continuously identify ways to improve sales performance.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a confident, energetic, commercially minded, and results-oriented sales professional who enjoys speaking with customers, developing business relationships, generating opportunities, following up consistently, and closing sales.

They should be comfortable with outbound calling, corporate sales, group bookings, international customers, high volumes of leads, negotiation, and target-based working.
