Emerson Electric Company India Pvt Ltd is seeking a senior sales professional to own booking targets and drive growth in Karnataka’s factory automation sector. You will work with OEMs and distributors to expand revenue, focus on customer satisfaction, and lead market engagement to uncover new opportunities.

The role requires 5–7 years in field instruments or related products, strong communication skills, and the ability to build a robust sales funnel across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Experience selling Pneumatics, Electrical Linear Actuators, Rotary Drives and Field Instruments.
• 5–7 years of significant sales experience in related industrial markets.
• Knowledge of Factory Automation and Karnataka region markets (pharma, automotive, F&B).
• Strong oral and written communication with excellent presentation skills.

Job description

Responsibilities

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ownership of Individual Booking Target.
• Work closely with OEMs & Distributors for incremental sales.
• Focus on customer satisfaction & retention.
• Drive Business Development, market engagement and build Funnel around uncovered markets and geographies.
• Undertake Planned Customer Connect Activities regularly with efficient CRM initiatives.
• Ensure and Maintain Good interpersonal relationship within the BU and with other BU stakeholders to ensure an amicable and cohesive sales growth environment.
• Industrial Automation Sales, managing existing Customers, Developing New Customers and Business Opportunities by Competition Conversion and Growth Programs.
• Generate additional business with Solution Selling, Synergy Products within BU and cross BU product selling.

Requirements

• Experience in selling Pneumatics, Electrical Linear Actuators, Rotary Drives Field Instruments products.
• Technically minded with a minimum of 4 to 6 years of significant work experience.
• Knowledge of Factory Automation Market of Karnataka region Overall Understanding of Discrete Industry including Factory Automation, Automotive, Pharma, F&B Outlook in Karnataka region.
• Effective oral and written communication with excellent presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

• BE/BTECH in Electronics & Instrumentation/Mechatronics/Electrical & Electronics/ Mechanical with 5 – 7 years’ experience in handling Sales of Filed Instruments (Pneumatics, Electrical Actuators) in Chennai region (Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh & Kerala).
• Basic knowledge of Pneumatic products & circuits, Electric actuators, High Pressure Regulators and Field Instruments is preferable.
