Job summary

The candidate will lead a team of chemists and drive product development, process optimisation, analytical support, and scale-up activities across multiple chemical segments.

The ideal candidate holds an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry with 2–3 years of experience in a related field, and is comfortable working on-site at Taloja MIDC, Panvel.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Experienced R&D Chemist to join our research & development team in a mid-sized chemical manufacturing organisation. The candidate will lead a team of chemists and will be responsible for product development, process optimisation, analytical support, and scale-up activities across multiple chemical and allied industry segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Good base on organic chemistry and knowledge of the chemical reactions


• Conduct research and development activities for speciality chemicals, fine chemicals, cosmetic ingredients, nutraceuticals, and API-related products.


• Carry out laboratory experiments, trials, and validation studies as per project requirements.


• Support pilot plant and production scale-up activities for newly developed products.


• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, GMP, and environmental standards.

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of chemical synthesis and process chemistry.


• Exposure to GMP, GLP, ISO, and safety practices preferred.
