Role Description

The Senior Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolhapur, responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients and partners. This role includes identifying client needs, recommending suitable insurance products, and ensuring timely renewal and servicing of policies. The Senior Relationship Manager will coordinate with internal teams for quotations, underwriting, claims support, and policy documentation, while maintaining accurate records in CRM and other systems. The role involves regular client meetings, market research to understand competitive offerings, and proactive cross-selling and up-selling of products. The Senior Relationship Manager will also mentor junior team members, support business development initiatives, and contribute to achieving regional sales and retention targets.

Qualifications

• Strong client relationship management, account handling, and customer service skills.
• Experience in sales, business development, and revenue growth within financial services or insurance.
• Knowledge of insurance products (life, health, general) and basic understanding of underwriting and claims processes.
• Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and presentation, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Comfort with technology, including CRM tools, MS Office, and digital communication platforms.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in insurance broking, banking, or financial services relationship management is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance are an advantage.
