Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to API Q1 and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Establish, implement, and maintain processes needed for the QMS.
• Report QMS performance and improvement needs to the Global Management Representative.
• Initiate actions to address nonconformities and promote customer requirement awareness across the site.
• Conduct internal and supplier audits in compliance with company and industry documentation (API, ASME, ASNT, etc.).
• Prepare and deliver professional audit reports detailing nonconformities, compliance strengths, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead audit teams and make decisions based on evidence gathered.
• Guide internal teams and suppliers on corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor and report supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost).
• Conduct supplier evaluations and re-evaluations.
• Assist in training new auditors and participate in client/accreditation audits.
• Maintain audit credentials and adhere to company policies, standards, and safety requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certification:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• Completion of an approved ISO 9001 Lead Auditor course.

Experience:

• 8-12 years as a qualified lead auditor in manufacturing.
• Minimum 6 years in manufacturing environments, preferably oil & gas sector.
• Detailed knowledge of API Q1, API standards, and ISO 9001 QMS requirements.
