Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automation Test Engineer with 2–3 years of

hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation

in manual and automation testing, a solid grasp of test lifecycle processes, and practical

experience in Python programming for writing and maintaining test scripts. You will play a

critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products

through effective test planning, execution, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python and relevant

frameworks.

● Perform manual testing when necessary to validate new features and critical

functionality.

● Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues.

● Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members

throughout the SDLC.

● Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting.

● Contribute to test framework enhancements and CI/CD integration of automated

tests.

● Document clear and concise test cases, test reports, and bug reports.

Requirements:

● 2–3 years of experience in manual and automation testing.

● Strong hands-on experience with Python for writing automation scripts.

● Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Pytest,Playwright, Selenium, or

Robot Framework.

● Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

● Good understanding of software testing principles, STLC, and agile

methodologies.

● Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

● Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

● Exposure to API testing (e.g., using Postman or REST-assured).

● Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

● Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
