Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of applications.
• Test REST APIs and microservices, validating functionality, integrations, request/response flows, and data.
• Work with JMS/message-based integrations and validate inter-service communication.
• Develop and maintain test automation using Cypress and/or REST Assured.
• Perform API testing using Postman or Insomnia.
• Conduct performance/load testing using Gatling.
• Perform backend data validation using SQL queries and databases.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira.
• Maintain test cases and project knowledge in Confluence.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer / Test Engineer with strong experience in Functional Testing, API Testing, Automation Testing, and Performance Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience testing microservices‑based applications, good understanding of JMS/messaging concepts, and strong knowledge of databases and SQL.

The role requires someone comfortable working across both manual and automated testing within an Agile/Scrum environment.
