Job summary

Gallagher in India seeks a software quality professional to debug software, run automated tests, and collaborate with development engineers to ensure application and system functionality across projects. The role involves developing and evaluating testing processes and conducting audits for quality standards.

You will mentor junior staff, participate in evaluations, and contribute to a global client-focused environment within a collaborative, purpose-driven team.

Qualifications

• University degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent experience considered.

How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:

Specializes in debugging software using automated tests to achieve quality standards for applications, system products, and projects. Executes test plans to ensure program functionality and consults development engineers to address issues. Provides feedback for evaluation of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Develops, conducts, and evaluates application audits and testing processes. Career: Applies advanced knowledge of sub-function typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include:

• Managing products, systems and/or projects/processes, and working independently with limited supervision.
• Facing IT function related problems that are sometimes difficult and moderately complex.
• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.

About you

Qualifications:

• University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

• Debugging software
• Communication and stakeholder management skills
• Assurance and quality testing; troubleshooting
• App development/programming understanding
