Job summary

Gallagher in India is seeking a skilled software professional to design, develop, and optimize applications across local networks and cloud-based environments, collaborating with architects, product managers, and end users. The role involves coding, testing, debugging, and documenting requirements, plus leading a team of professionals and coordinating with offshore resources.

A university degree with at least five years of relevant experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, and document program requirements with architects, product managers and end users.

• Set goals and oversee a team of professionals; manage offshore/contract resources when required.

How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:

Specializes in planning, designing, and developing software systems (e.g., middleware, legacy, mainframe) and applications from concept phase to series production used in local, networked, cloudbased or internet related computer programs. Developers design, code, test, debug, and document program requirements, working with architects, product managers, and endusers in the development and enhancement of applications. Plans, designs, and develops software systems from concept phase to production in local networks or cloud based related computer programs.

• Codes in relevant languages.
• Manages a team of Professionals, more senior level Support staff, larger group of off-shore/contract resources or some combination of these groups.
• May have supervisors reporting to them.

Responsibilities typically include:

• Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.
• Handling problems that are sometimes difficult and moderately complex.
• Ensuring compliance policies, and procedures are understood and followed.

About you
