Job summary

Trendwick is seeking a Quality Analyst with 3–5 years of software testing experience, including automation. You will lead testing for trading tools and an AI assistant, plan tests, and guide a small team of about three junior testers.

You will work with Selenium or Playwright, Python or Java, API testing, SQL and CI/CD, ensuring quality before every release. We offer full training and mentoring in a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in software testing, including automation.

• Hands-on API testing and SQL experience.
• Experience guiding junior testers is a plus.

The role

At Trendwick, you lead testing for our trading tools and AI assistant, and make sure they work correctly before every release.

You plan the testing, automate it, and guide a small team of about three junior testers.

Open to any graduate or post-graduate with 3–5 years of software testing experience, including automation. No trading knowledge is needed; we teach you our products and the markets.

Skills for this role: Automation testing (Selenium or Playwright), Python or Java, API testing (Postman, REST Assured or PyTest), SQL, Performance testing (JMeter), CI/CD (Jenkins or GitHub Actions), Jira, Test planning and strategy, Mentoring.

• Plan testing: plan the testing for every release and decide when it is ready to go live.
• Automate tests: build automated tests with Selenium or Playwright using Python or Java.
• Test APIs: automate API tests with Postman, REST Assured or PyTest.
• Check trading logic: make sure indicator values and EA trades are correct, including tricky cases like price gaps and fast markets during big news.
• Test the AI: check the AI chat assistant and AI agents for wrong answers, unsafe advice and misuse.
• Test speed: run speed and load tests with tools like JMeter.
• Check security: do basic security checks on login, licences and data.
• Guide your team: review your juniors' test cases and bug reports, and teach them.
• Lead bug meetings: discuss bugs with developers and Product Owners and agree what to fix first.
• Share reports: share simple quality reports with the team.

Requirements

• 3–5 years in software testing, including at least 1 year of automation.
• Python or Java for automation, with Selenium or Playwright.
• API testing and SQL.
• Experience guiding junior testers is a plus.
• English and any Indian language.
