Job summary

Aumni Techworks is seeking a QA Automation Analyst with 5–7 years of software testing experience to lead automation initiatives for a FinTech product. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites while performing manual testing when needed.

You will coordinate results with various departments to ensure product quality and integrity. The role requires strong automation skills (Playwright, Cucumber), experience with UI/DB/API tests, and a solid understanding of SDLC within an Agile

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in software testing (Automation)

Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements and convert them into test scenarios and automation coverage
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright
• Use BDD with Gherkin feature files (Cucumber or equivalent)
• Automate UI/DB/API and improve existing automation frameworks
• Implement Page Object Model and CI/CD automation setup
• Convert manual regression tests into maintainable automated suites
• Coordinate results with impacted departments daily

Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a QA analyst (Automation) for a FinTech Product with 5 to 7 years of experience. You will be an integral part of the QA team responsible for ensuring product quality and integrity with focus on development and execution of test automation along with Manual work as and when needed. This individual will communicate and coordinate results with impacted departments on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Good to have knowledge for Fixed Asset Income Domain
• Ability to analyze product requirements and convert them into effective test scenarios and automation coverage
• Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using Playwright
• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks using Gherkin feature files (Cucumber or equivalent)
• Must have Automation experience on at least one of UI Automation or DB Automation or API automation
• Ability to debug, optimize, and enhance existing automation frameworks
• Experience with test design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM)
• Good to have knowledge about Automation set-up, infrastructure for CI-CD, supporting open source tools (such as Jenkins)
• Experience converting existing manual regression test cases into maintainable automated suite

Required Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in software testing (Automation experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• BSC/BE/B.Tech/MCA/M. Tech (Computer education background)
• Experience working in agile development environment and a Strong understanding of SDLC
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively and efficiently
• Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found
