Job summary

Trendwick in India is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead the development of our AI chat assistant and AI trading agents. You will plan architecture, write core components in Python, Java, and C/C++, and mentor a small team of about three junior developers.

You will be open to graduates with 3–5 years of software development experience; no trading knowledge is required as we teach our products and markets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Strong Python, good Java and working C/C++.
• Hands-on work with AI models (LLMs), or a strong AI project.
• Experience guiding junior developers.
• English and any Indian language.

Responsibilities

• Plan the AI assistant: decide how our AI chat assistant and AI agents work, including model choice and tool usage.
• Build the core: write the main backend in Python and Java, with fast parts in C/C++.
• Connect AI to trading: link AI with live market data, indicators and backtests.
• Keep the AI safe: ensure it won’t give personal investment advice or be misused.
• Lead trading tools: build indicators and EAs on TradingView, MetaTrader and cTrader; check trading logic.
• Guide your team: review juniors' code, mentor, and plan tasks.
• Plan with product: break big features into smaller tasks with Product Owners.
• Automate releases: CI/CD, testing and cloud deployment.
• Fix problems fast: lead live-product issue resolution.
• Protect our work: keep code, data and licenses secure.

The role

At Trendwick, you lead the building of our AI chat assistant and AI trading agents.

You plan how things should work, write the important parts yourself, and guide a small team of about three junior developers.

Open to any graduate or post-graduate with 3–5 years of software development experience. No trading knowledge is needed; we teach you our products and the markets.

Skills for this role: Python, Java, C/C++, System design, REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, LLMs and AI agents (for example LangChain or RAG), Docker and cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP), CI/CD and Git, Code review and mentoring.
