Job summary

Headstream Technologies is seeking a seasoned Quality Analyst in Chennai to lead end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications. The role requires 5+ years of experience, proficiency with Bugzilla/Jira/MS Visual Studio, and strong understanding of SDLC and agile/scrum processes.

You will design test cases, perform functional, regression and black-box testing, and report results with trace matrices. Strong communication skills are essential for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• QA with minimum 5 years of experience in Testing.
• Proficient in bug tracking tools like Bugzilla, Jira or MS Visual Studio with end to end testing & reporting.
• Should have deep understanding of product life cycle and application life cycle.
• Experience working in agile/scrum development process.
• Testing experience in Web Services, applications and mobile apps is a must.
• Experience of Selenium with Java is an added advantage.
• Should have good knowledge in testing methodologies like functional, Regression, compression and black box.
• Should have a good understanding of testing concepts.
• Should have experience in creating test cases, trace matrices, etc.
• SQL Knowledge is an added advantage.
• Critical thinking and analysis skills to determine security risk to data, hardware and software.
• Should have very good interpersonal and communication skill.
