Job summary

Amantya Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our testing team in India. The role focuses on designing and executing test plans for web, mobile, and cloud-based applications, ensuring quality from development through release.

The candidate should have 5–8 years of hands-on QA experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Selenium, Appium, JMeter, JIRA, and HP ALM. ISTQB/CSTE certification is a plus while adaptability and teamwork are essential.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA or equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proven track record of designing, implementing, and executing test plans and test cases.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or JMeter.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA or HP ALM.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Ability to identify, isolate, and track bugs systematically

Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) would be an advantage.

• Experience in testing web applications, mobile apps, and/or cloud-based solutions.
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with security testing and knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a dynamic environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
