Job summary

Qualifications

QA Tester - Retail & Enterprise Applications

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative QA Tester to support testing activities across retail and enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating business-critical solutions supporting Store Operations, Point of Sale (POS), Inventory Management, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and SAP-integrated processes.

Working as part of an Agile delivery team, the QA Tester will contribute to test planning, test execution, defect management, and release validation while ensuring high-quality software delivery across integrated retail systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.


• Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and UAT testing across retail and enterprise applications.


• Validate retail business processes including POS transactions, inventory movements, pricing and promotions, order management, payments, and store operations workflows.


• Execute API and integration testing across SAP, middleware, and third-party systems.


• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps (ADO).


• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality deliverables.


• Support release validation, production verification, and post-release testing activities.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.


• Assist with test data preparation and environment validation activities.


• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of QA best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.


• 3+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.


• Experience testing retail, POS, store operations, supply chain, or enterprise business applications.


• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management.


• Experience with API testing using REST services and tools such as Postman or similar.


• Experience executing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.


• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and working within Agile teams.


• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), or equivalent.


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing POS, retail, merchandising, inventory, or supply chain applications.


• Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP-integrated environments.


• Exposure to API, middleware, and enterprise integration testing.


• Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.


• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.


• ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent.
