Job summary

Alghanim Industries is seeking a senior QA/Testing professional to lead validation efforts across Retail, POS and E‑commerce platforms, including Magento‑backed systems and mobile apps. You will drive test strategy, automate key areas, and coordinate defect triage with cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in QA, strong Agile experience, and hands‑on automation using Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Docker and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in QA / Testing roles.
• Proven ability to create and execute Test Plans and Test Strategies.
• Hands‑on experience in defect triage, tracking, and closure.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies with active participation in sprint‑based delivery.
• Expertise in test automation, including tools and technologies such as Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, AWS, and POS or similar platforms.
• Good to have: experience with SCM, Marketplace platforms, and OMS

Responsibilities

• Understand Testing & Release requirements and lay down the overall testing approach accordingly
• Hands‑on experience on Retail backed systems like Magento/commerce tools and a solid understanding of Ecommerce knowledge helps team to create positive workflows, negative scenarios, and customer centric cases
• Perform test automation feasibility and hands‑on experience using selenium, Appium or similar libraries, defect slippages, RCAs and plan for test automation coverage/metrics, integration with GIT & CICD tools
• Hands‑on experience on UI & web‑service manual validation & test automation across the platforms – Web, M‑web, Mobile apps (IOS & Android) of digital/omni‑channel landscape systems by following STLC process
• Leading the test strategy and collaborating with the QA manager to define and implement organization‑wide quality strategies, processes, and best practices
• Support defect triage, defect prioritization, retesting and defect closure
• Review and provide feedback on test cases, test scripts, and test automation code developed by QA engineers, ensuring that they adhere to best practices and quality standards
• Hands‑on experience on POS validation & Last mile delivery systems like fareye
• Knowledge on SAP, SCM, Marketplace, OMS, AWS systems would be added advantage
• Knowledge on database, performance & security testing would be plus
• Perform sanity/regression tests before and after the releases over the specified environments
• Ensures team has adequate training, consulting and tools to deliver objectives

Responsible for validating digital initiatives by supporting requirement gathering, defining test plans and test strategies, estimating QA effort, and driving test automation. The role ensures QA team alignment and time delivery across Wed, POS, LMD, E-commerce platforms and Mobile applications.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong experience in Retail, POS, and E‑commerce systems, with exposure to PIM and SAP ERP
