Job summary

Flywire is a global payments enablement and software company seeking a Salesforce Test Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions for our Salesforce platform and integrated applications. You will collaborate with product, development, and release teams across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ to ensure high-quality solutions.

You should have 5+ years of QA automation experience, strong Salesforce testing expertise, and a proven track record in API

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of QA automation experience.
• 4+ years of Salesforce testing experience.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities.
• Experience testing Lightning Experience applications.
• Strong API testing skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for Salesforce applications.
• Develop automated test scripts for: Lightning UI, Apex-driven workflows, Salesforce Flows, APIs, Integrations.
• Validate Salesforce customizations including: Objects, Validation rules, Process automation, Approval processes, Reports and dashboards.
• Execute: Functional testing, Regression testing, Smoke testing, End-to-end testing.
• Validate: REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Middleware integrations.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support release validation.

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions for our Salesforce platform and integrated enterprise applications.

This role will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, DevOps, and Release teams to ensure high‑quality, scalable, and reliable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, integrations, and custom applications.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in:

• Salesforce platform testing
• UI and API automation
• Test strategy and quality engineering
• Agile delivery environments
• Enterprise integration testing
• Leveraging AI to generate test cases, identify edge cases, analyze test results, and accelerate root cause analysis to improve test design, automation development, and defect analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Test Automation

• Design and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for Salesforce applications
• Develop automated test scripts for:

• Create test plans and test strategies
• Define automation coverage goals
• Improve test reliability and execution speed
• Identify opportunities for shift-left testing
• Implement reusable automation components

Defect Management

• Log, track, and validate defects
• Perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with engineering teams on issue resolution
• Ensure production stability during releases

Collaboration

• Partner with:
  • Product Owners
  • Salesforce Architects
  • Developers
  • Business stakeholders
  • Release managers
• Participate in:
  • Sprint planning
  • Backlog grooming
  • Daily standups

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of QA automation experience
• 4+ years of Salesforce testing experience
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities
• Experience testing Lightning Experience applications
• Strong API testing skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Desired Technical Skills

• Understanding of Sales Cloud/Service Cloud/Experience Cloud/Salesforce Flows/Apex basics/Validation rules/Profiles and permission sets/Salesforce security model
• Experience with tools like Selenium Webdriver, TestNG, Provar, Postman
• Experience leveraging AI to generate test cases, identify edge cases, analyze test results, and accelerate root cause analysis to improve test design, automation development, and defect analysis.
