Location: Thane

As a Senior QA, you will work collaboratively within the QA team to ensure delivers a reliable, high-quality SaaS product to enterprise customers. You will be responsible for planning and executing manual testing across the platform, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing. Youll work closely with Software Engineers, Product, and QA peers to identify issues early, document test scenarios clearly, and help maintain confidence in production releases.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual test plans and test cases (functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory) for our SaaS platform, ensuring strong test coverage
• Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product to align testing with real user workflows and requirements
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, and support timely resolution through effective triage, verify fixes, and perform regression testing
• Continuously improve QA practices, test documentation, and execution efficiency (e.g., improving test coverage, checklists, and regression suites) to support reliable releases
• Monitor and report on test execution results and defect trends to drive product quality improvements and prevent regressions
• Participate in root cause analysis of post-release defects and contribute to ongoing QA process improvements
• Perform manual API testing (e.g., using Postman) to validate backend behaviour where applicable
• Identify gaps in product functionality based on product understanding, including issues not explicitly stated in requirements

Qualifications Essential

• 4+ years experience in a QA / software testing role within an Agile development environment
• Hands-on experience designing and executing manual test cases (functional, regression, and exploratory) for web/SaaS applications
• Strong understanding of test design techniques, defect management, debugging, and analytical problem-solving
• Experience working on SaaS or large-scale web applications
• Experience with defect tracking and test management workflows in Jira (or similar tools)
• Clear communication skills and ability to work closely with engineering and product teams
• Experience creating and maintaining test documentation for complex features

Desirable

• ISTQB certification (or equivalent) is an advantage
• Exposure to performance or reliability testing in production-grade systems
• Experience working with distributed or global teams
