Job summary

Credibl is seeking a proactive Senior QA Engineer in Pune to own quality processes within an Agile team. You will drive automation using Playwright or Selenium, collaborate with developers and product managers, and leverage Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot to accelerate testing.

You will mentor juniors, participate in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, and contribute to QA standards and documentation while ensuring robust software quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in Enterprise SaaS and data-intensive applications.
• 3-5 years combined experience in automation and manual testing.
• Hands-on with Playwright and/or Selenium for web test automation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, QA best practices.
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) for testing.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem solving.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Background in Agile/Scrum environments with active sprint participation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright (preferred) or Selenium.
• Lead creation of test strategies, plans, and test cases; close coverage gaps and drive improvements.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test creation, debugging, and documentation.
• Engage with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and report quality status.
• Identify, document, and track defects in GitHub; perform root-cause analysis and verify fixes.
• Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger, or Playwright API testing features.
• Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Mentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices and testing methodologies.
• Contribute to QA process improvements, standards, and documentation across the team.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in Automation and Manual Testing. You will take ownership of quality processes, collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders, and leverage modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to deliver high-quality software in an Agile environment. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright (Preferred), Selenium.
• Lead creation of test strategies, test plans, and test cases; identify coverage gaps and drive improvements.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate test creation, debugging, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Good to Have

• Experience with API automation frameworks (Playwright API, RestAssured).
• Knowledge of Git, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
