Job summary

Majoris Training And Consulting in Chennai seeks a QA engineer with strong automation and scripting skills to enhance our testing framework. You will balance manual and automated testing, leverage Python/JavaScript/C#, and drive API automation using ReadAPI, SpecFlow and TestComplete.

You will collaborate with BAs and developers in an Agile setup, maintain regression packs, and ensure comprehensive test coverage across environments through well-prepared scenarios and data.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree-level qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams with strong collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Clear communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of trading environments is a plus but not required.

Job description

• &+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a balanced focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, C#) to develop effective automation scripts
• Expertise with ReadAPI, SpecFlow, and TestComplete for API automation.
• Strong experience in maintaining automated regression packs and contributeng to sprint testing.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking systems (JIRA).
• Experience with tools like QMetery for test management and documentation.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with BAs and developers on refining requirements and testing strategies.
• Hands-on experience in scenario preparation and data preparation for test environments.
• Proven ability to design, maintain, and execute complex test cases that ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Ability to update and align the Test Approach to Jira stories and project requirements.

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and the integration of automated tests into DevOps processes.
