Job summary

Nvizion Solutions in Mumbai is seeking an experienced QA Lead to guide a dynamic quality assurance team and ensure deliverables meet client expectations.

You will develop and implement QA processes, mentor staff, and collaborate with development, product, and project management to align on quality objectives. The role requires hands-on expertise in test automation (Selenium, Appium), API and performance testing, SQL validation, and experience with CI/CD pipelines in an ecommerce context.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in quality assurance with at least 4+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools to assess the performance, scalability, and stability of applications under various load conditions.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries to perform database testing, including data validation, data integrity, and data manipulation testing.
• Proficiency in test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similar tools to plan, execute, and track test activities, manage test cases, and report defects.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, SVN, or similar tools to manage test scripts, test data, and other testing artifacts.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows for continuous testing and delivery.
• Knowledge of testing techniques and strategies specific to e-commerce applications, including transaction testing, checkout process testing, and payment gateway testing.
• Experience in testing mobile applications across different platforms (iOS, Android) and devices to ensure compatibility, functionality, and usability.
• Understanding of security testing principles and techniques to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in software applications, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security code reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
