QA Automation Engineer - Playwright, API, SQL & AI Testing

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright Automation, API Testing, SQL Validation, and AI Testing to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in building automation frameworks, validating web applications, APIs, databases, and leveraging AI/GenAI tools to improve testing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for Web, API, and End-to-End testing.
• Perform API testing and automation using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
• Develop and execute test cases for AI/GenAI-based applications including LLM validation, prompt testing, output verification, and AI model testing.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with developers for resolution.
• Ensure quality throughout the SDLC using Agile methodologies.
• Contribute to test planning, estimation, reporting, and release validation.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Playwright Automation.
• Expertise in API Testing & API Automation.
• Good understanding of SQL and Database Validation.
