Job summary

Accellor in India seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain test strategies for web, Salesforce, and enterprise applications. You will develop automation scripts with Playwright, perform functional and regression testing, and integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines.

You will mentor junior QA engineers, collaborate closely with developers and product teams, and help improve test coverage and quality across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
• Hands-on automation testing using Playwright.
• Experience with Appium for mobile testing.
• Strong programming in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience testing web applications and APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web, salesforce, and enterprise applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Playwright
• Prior experience with Mobile Testing using Appium.
• Strong programming skills in: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Experience testing web applications and APIs
• Experience with Playwright-based automation frameworks
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.)
• Experience with performance or security testing is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
• Experience working closely with developers, product managers, and program managers
• Experience mentoring junior QA engineers
• Professional proficiency in English
