The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Selenium, TypeScript, Playwright, Node.js, and Python. Will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to QA automation strategy, planning, and execution for complex software projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, TypeScript, Node.js and Python
• API Testing using Rest-Assured, Postman, Swagger
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage.
• Perform code reviews for automation scripts to maintain high-quality standards.
• Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing practices.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban) and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of defects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4-8 years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, TypeScript, Node.js and Python
• Proven experience in driving QA efforts for complex, large-scale software systems.
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools and best practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with continuous integration & deployment pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Java and Selenium
• Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
