Job summary

Bounteous is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 6 to 9 years in India to design and maintain AI-augmented test suites. You will lead manual and exploratory testing for complex features, integrate AI testing into CI/CD, and mentor junior analysts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Claude Code or an equivalent AI coding assistant for test generation or automation.
• Proficiency with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites, leveraging Claude Code or equivalent AI tools to accelerate test script creation and maintenance
• Lead manual and exploratory testing efforts for complex features, ensuring comprehensive coverage across functional, regression, and edge-case scenarios
• Partner with engineering to integrate AI-assisted testing workflows (Claude Code or equivalent) into CI/CD pipelines for faster, more reliable releases
• Review and triage bugs, working closely with developers to reproduce, document, and validate fixes
• Mentor junior QA analysts on best practices for test automation and AI-assisted QA tooling
• Define and track quality metrics (defect density, test coverage, escape rate) and report on release readiness
• Evaluate and prototype new AI-driven testing tools/approaches to continuously improve QA efficiency
• Stay current with the rapidly evolving generative AI landscape

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Claude Code or an equivalent AI coding assistant (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for test generation, debugging, or automation
• Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
