About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AI – Senior/Lead QA Manual and Automation Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives across modern web applications and AI‑driven platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in writing test cases, developing automation frameworks, leveraging AI tools for automation testing, and validating seamless user experiences.

This role requires deep knowledge of automation engineering, AI‑assisted testing methodologies, UX validation, and Agile software delivery practices. The candidate will also mentor QA engineers and drive best practices across the testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and reusable test scripts.
• Write comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on product requirements and business workflows.
• Perform automation testing using tools such as Playwright (Most Preferable), Selenium WebDriver, or similar frameworks.
• Utilize AI-powered testing tools and AI‑assisted techniques for test generation, automation, validation, and defect analysis.
• Conduct User Experience (UX) testing to ensure usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and smooth end‑user workflows.
• Identify UI/UX inconsistencies, usability gaps, and functional issues to improve overall product quality.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, API, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects with detailed root‑cause analysis.
• Lead QA initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and review automation scripts and testing strategies.
• Drive quality best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in QA Automation and Software Testing.
• Strong expertise in writing manual test cases and automation scripts.
• Hands‑on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright (Most Preferable), Selenium WebDriver, or equivalent.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, TypeScript, or C#.
• Experience using AI tools for automation testing and test optimization.
• Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) testing and usability validation.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software testing practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing AI-based applications or intelligent platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of performance and load testing tools.
• Experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium is a plus.
• Strong analytical, debugging, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
