Job Description:
NKT is looking for a Senior Planner (Tender / Project) to support tender submissions and project execution through structured planning, monitoring, and reporting within HV Solutions Karlskrona – Transmission Planning. You will work with cross-functional teams to build tender schedules, maintain project plans, and support delivery in line with planning standards and contractual requirements. Do you want a role that connects tender planning with real project execution in the green transition?
In this role, you will develop and maintain comprehensive tender and project schedules, support planning input during RFQ and BAFO stages, and follow progress during execution. You will coordinate with internal teams, clients, and partners to manage interfaces, identify clashes, and support reporting and progress control. You will also contribute to improving planning tools and ways of working, while supporting junior planners with guidance and day-to-day coordination.
You will work closely with the Planning Department, Project Team, Karlskrona Production Team, and Routine Test Leaders. Functional reporting is to the Director, Head of Planning; line reporting is to the Operations Head – HVS KKA G3C. Location: Chennai or Mumbai. Occasional site visits (onshore/offshore).
You enjoy working with multiple stakeholders and balancing priorities across tender and execution timelines. You are organised and comfortable working with detailed schedules and reporting requirements. You communicate clearly, own your tasks, and support a respectful team environment. You approach change with an open mindset and contribute ideas that improve coordination, clarity, and planning ways of working.
NKT is committed to developing a diverse organization and culture where people of diverse backgrounds can grow and are inspired to do their best. We are focused on establishing gender diversity at NKT and encouraging all interested candidates to apply – even if you don’t tick all the boxes described. We believe that a diverse organization enables long-term performance, and that an inclusive and welcoming culture creates a better work environment.
You will have opportunities to develop your planning capability across tender and project phases, work in a collaborative international environment, and learn from colleagues across locations and functions. The role offers exposure to client interactions, contract planning requirements, and the full project lifecycle—from RFQ to closing reports—supporting NKT’s contribution to grid expansion and electrification.
