Job summary

Cencora is hiring a Senior Project Manager, Technical Project Management in Pune to lead complex IT programs across engineering, product, data and business teams. The role requires driving cross-functional collaboration, governance, and delivery visibility while mentoring junior PMs.

You will steer Agile ceremonies, optimize delivery frameworks and monitor program health through dashboards, risks, and metrics, ensuring timely, quality outcomes aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• 12–16 years IT experience with at least 4 years in technical/project management.
• 1+ year as Scrum Master/RTE; strong facilitation of Agile ceremonies required.
• PMP, PMI-ACP or SAFe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops integrated program plans, milestone schedules, risk registers and governance routines to maintain delivery visibility and stakeholder alignment.
• Coordinates cross-functional dependencies across engineering, product, data, and business teams to resolve blockers and maintain momentum.
• Delivers program risks and issues using structured escalation and stakeholder involvement.
• Produces executive-ready program status reporting, delivery dashboards and decision briefs communicating progress, risks and actions.
• Drives improvements to project management practices, delivery frameworks and governance standards for better execution quality and consistency.
• Guides less experienced project managers on planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Drives agile practices and fosters trust, transparency, learning and continuous improvement via healthy Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Ensure development teams practice core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability and visibility.
• Leverage metrics to support delivery, enable transparency and optimize iterative/incremental development.
