Job summary

RSC Projects is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex mechanical contracting projects, including HVAC, piping, fabrication, and heavy machinery installation. You will manage multiple teams and subcontractors while ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in mechanical project management, strong leadership and negotiation skills, and familiarity with MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical project management, preferably in contracting for industrial clients.
• PMP/PRINCE2 certification (preferred but not mandatory).

• Oversee end-to-end execution of mechanical projects for industrial clients.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial efficiency.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients and ensure clear communication.
• Lead internal engineers, technicians, and subcontractors; foster collaboration across disciplines.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Identify potential risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Project Leadership: Oversee end-to-end execution of mechanical projects for industrial clients.
• Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial efficiency.
• Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and clear communication.
• Team Coordination: Lead internal engineers, technicians, and subcontractors; foster collaboration across disciplines.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates to stakeholders.
