Position: Senior Project Manager- Infrastructure

Type: Full‑Time Contractor (FTC), 1‑Year Contract (Contract‑to‑Hire)

Role summary

We’re looking for a flexible, experienced Senior Project Manager who can lead medium‑to‑large enterprise network and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is people‑first, comfortable running programs with multiple vendors and client stakeholders, and experienced enough to quickly pick up project specifics (networking, wireless, staging/logistics, or cloud infra). This is a client‑facing, cross‑functional role that requires strong stakeholder management, clear governance, and the ability to work with global teams when required. The position is a 12‑month contract with the intention to convert to permanent depending on performance.

Key responsibilities (high-level)
  • Plan, coordinate, and drive successful delivery of technology projects from kickoff through closeout.
  • Manage timelines, milestones, budgets, risks, issues and change control with disciplined PMO practices.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and distributed teams; prepare and present weekly status updates.
  • Ensure quality of deliverables and documentation; obtain timely stakeholder sign‑offs.
  • Coordinate third parties (vendors, logistics/staging partners, on‑site suppliers) as needed.
  • Escalate and resolve project issues while protecting schedule and customer commitments.
  • Mentor and lead project team members and contractors.
  • Travel to customer sites as required.
Required experience & skills
  • 8–12+ years in IT / network / infrastructure project management (senior or lead PM experience).
  • Proven track record managing multi‑vendor, multi‑site technology rollouts or complex infrastructure programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Solid PM governance skills: scheduling, risk management, change control, budgeting and reporting.
  • Comfortable working with global stakeholders and adjusting hours occasionally for cross‑time‑zone collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites when needed [Not required for current project].
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • PMP/Prince2 or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Desirable (but not required)
  • Exposure to Cisco technologies (networking, wireless, SD‑WAN, DC), RF survey processes, or device staging/logistics.
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • 12‑month contract; contract‑to‑hire conversion based on mutual fit.
  • KPIs: on‑time milestone delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, quality of documentation and change control discipline.
  • Background checks verification required.
