Detailed Job Description

As a Project Manager – Infrastructure Projects supporting enterprise data center and network modernization in Bangalore via Task Staffing, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of end-to-end project lifecycles involving servers, storage, firewalls, switches, routing, and enterprise network technologies. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing data center operations such as rack-and-stack activities, structured cabling, power management, hardware deployment, and complex migration planning. You will coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, third-party vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Furthermore, you will drive risk management, change control, capacity planning, and operational readiness for infrastructure deployments across enterprise data centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for complex data center, network, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Oversee hardware deployments, server migrations, storage provisioning, firewall integration, and enterprise network routing upgrades.
• Direct data center operations including rack-and-stack activities, structured cabling, and power/cooling management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary cross-functional technical teams, hardware vendors, and executive stakeholders.
• Ensure infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within approved scope, and strictly within budget constraints.
• Drive proactive risk management, change control processes, and rigorous mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in infrastructure project management and IT service delivery.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex data center, network, and infrastructure transformation projects.
• Strong hands‑on familiarity with servers, storage arrays, firewalls, enterprise switches, and routing/switching technologies.
