Responsibilities

• Own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and global processes for projects implementation.
• Develop scope of work, plan schedules and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers and GE Product Engineering.
• Develop specialized knowledge in the discipline and contribute to strategy and policy development.
• Use judgment to make decisions and solve moderately complex tasks in operations, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation.
• Activities that are conducted to better understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customer.
• Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working.
• Serves as the technical leader/manager to develop a scope of work and plan schedule and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.
• Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, GE Product Engineering, Sourcing, Engineering sub-contractors.
• Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline.
• Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
• Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.

Requirements

• For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Customer Project Engineering.
• Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
